As a Strategic Project Lead in the Group Strategy team at Swedbank, you will play a vital role in driving strategy development and execution in a transformative and complex environment within the financial services industry. You will work in close collaboration with executive management and lead cross-functional teams on projects and topics of high strategic importance.
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
• Be a key part in driving and facilitating the development of the bank's strategy, operating model, and efficient execution of the strategy in close dialogue and cooperation with all areas cross the Group
• Lead the development of the Group's Strategic Direction as well as analyse and prepare decision material for Swedbank's group executive management and Board of Directors
• Facilitate strategic execution across the group by developing the bank's execution plan, driving annual tactical business & transformation planning, and establishing targets as well as follow-up of Swedbank's strategy and delivery of the plan
• Support and work closely together with the CEO, deputy CEO and CFO on various engagements
• Tackle miscellaneous ad-hoc and problem-solving tasks on group level across a broad range of themes
• Engage with colleagues across the whole organization on topics related to business development, organizational design, finance, investor relations, sustainability, and technology
What is needed in this role:
• Strong interest in strategy development and translating strategy into effective execution as well as developing and performing execution planning, steering, and follow-up
• Proven project management capabilities with ability to plan, manage, and execute combined with excellent communication and strong stakeholder management skills
• Drive and willingness to learn and develop, a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to challenge and facilitate the right contextual priorities
• 3-5+ years of experience from a similar role such as management consulting, business development, corporate strategy, investment banking or similar
• Previous experience from the banking-/financial services industry and its transformation is meritorious but not a pre-requisite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
