SICK IVP in Linköping develops Machine Vision solutions for industrial production and quality assurance. Our 3D imaging technology is the global leader and the latest 3D camera for industrial applications was awarded with the internationally recognized Vision Innovation prize in 2010. We are a part of the German sensor company SICK with more than 7000 employees in 55 countries. SICK IVP is a competence center for Machine Vision within SICK, and we perform research, product development, product management and marketing. We are currently 55 employees. We are looking for a

Strategic Product Manager for next generation of 3D Cameras

Our 3D Vision team is about to launch the next generation of our very successful and world leading 3D Cameras and we are looking for a new Strategic Product Manager. You will be a part of a dedicated team of experienced product managers and by time, your responsibility will be for our full 3D Camera portfolio. Our customers are present worldwide and uses our products for automation tasks in a variety of industries. Your task is to ensure that we keep satisfying their needs as they evolve and to secure business growth by offering a product portfolio that outperforms the competition.

As Strategic Product Manager, you set the direction for the portfolio development. You bring refined market and customer needs to our R&D organization and in our agile development projects you manage the product requirements. You prepare the market launch and in cooperation with our global sales organization you ensure the product's success.

Profile

You have a technical or business degree from higher education and several years of experience from B2B product management and marketing. Your previous roles have included responsibility for the complete product lifecycle as well as launch and after sales material. You feel comfortable in all area of business development, including market intelligence, customer orientation, requirements elicitation and business case formulation. You have experience of product ownership in agile development projects and you are able to discuss and prioritize technical requirements and define specifications. Previous experiences from working with high-tech products for industrial usage or competence in machine vision is a merit.

You have strong communication skills and as a person you are energetic, assertive and well organized. You have a genuine interest in understanding the customer and market needs and you strive continuously to be responsive and creative to gain customer satisfaction.

As Product Manager you will work in close cooperation with both international customers and with the SICK sales organization around the world. An ability and wish for frequent international travels is therefore essential. Excellent English skills are required as well as strong social and intercultural competences.
