Q&CS Strategy is a global function within Volvo Group Trucks Technology - Quality & Customer Satisfaction. Our team is responsible for driving the development of Q&CS strategies, advanced quality & warranty analytics and quality tools, operational excellence, and GTT environmental core value management. We especially enjoy thinking outside the box and to operate cross functionally with colleagues within Group Trucks Technology, our truck brands, Group Trucks Operations and Group Trucks Purchasing with the customer success at heart.
Role Summary
As a strategic planner you will have the responsibility to develop, drive and implement strategies for GTT Quality & Customer Satisfaction (Q&CS), challenging and supporting the organization to initiate continuous improvements. You will together with a team of strategic planners be able to influence and be part of the foras where the planning and discussions of the most strategic questions within product quality are held. In this position you will also be responsible for providing business support, driving strategic projects, and to initiate activities required to achieve defined objectives. You will in this position report to the Vice President of Q&CS Strategy and be part of the Q&CS Strategy management team.
Main Activities and Responsibilities
• Developing, driving, implementing, and ensuring awareness of strategies.
• Providing business support through developing reports and presentation material for GTT and Volvo Group top management based on analysis result and quality performance.
• Coordinating activities and preparations related to selected foras, e.g. Volvo Group Quality Board and AB Volvo Board.
• Improving operational excellence through facilitating various workshops, acting in close co-operation with the Quality & Customer Satisfaction line functions and other GTT units.
• Contribute to develop Q&CS Strategy as a high performing team sharing experiences and utilizing best practice.

Who are you?

As strategic planner you have an open and holistic mindset, are analytical, structured, and attentive as well as possess excellent communication skills in English - both spoken and written. You are adept and capable of actively engaging with multidisciplinary teams in an international environment, and have the ability to build sustainable and trustful relationships and networks.
Required Experiences and Education
• Master of science or equivalent in a relevant field
• A minimum of five years' experience in management from project or line positions.
• Strong analytical skills in combination with creativity, drive and target orientation
• A successful record of driving projects in a multi-cultural / cross-functional environment
A background in business development, strategic planning, change management, and / or operational excellence methodologies as continuous improvement is an advantage. Formal training in leadership, communication and people skills would also be valuable in this position.
