hela Sverige ValueOne is looking for a Strategic Buyer with experience in purchasing of CAPEX/production equipment for a consulting assignment at a manufacturing company in the Gothenburg area. The assignment can be conducted from any place in Sweden but regular and sometimes weekly trips to our customers office is included. The assignment is expected to last for at least twelve months and must be filled as soon as possible. For the right person there are strong possibilities for extension.

The Role
As a Strategic Buyer, you are responsible for driving the procurement of production equipment, including machines and other production related equipment. The overall mission is to develop strategies for various purchasing activities and actively drive supplier optimization in relation to cost, quality and reliability. The work takes place in close collaboration with other bodies within the company such as logistics, project purchasing, manufacturing, finance, etc.
Main tasks:
Procurement of CAPEX/production equipment.
Manage supplier relationships and negotiate commercial terms.
Manage purchase contracts and handle major deviations / complaints.
Manage and develop the supplier base.
Conduct supplier sourcing and implement new suppliers.
Experience and Competencies
We are looking for an experienced commercially driven Strategic Buyer. You have experience in procuring CAPEX/ production equipment and a background from a larger manufacturing industry, preferably within the new energy industry.
As a person, you are a great stakeholder manager who is driven and flexible with a start-up and entrepreneurial mindset. Furthermore, you are analytical and decisive. You are a skilled change leader and used to collaborate with relevant functions to reach common goals. You have good communication and presentation skills. Fluency in English is required.
