JOB SUMMARY: THE RED HAT SALES TEAM IS LOOKING TO HIRE A STRATEGIC ACCOUNTS MANAGER FOR ERICSSON TO JOIN US IN SWEDEN. IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPARING AND ALIGNING THE ACCOUNT AND SALES PLAN INCLUDING HIGH QUALITY QUARTERLY FORECASTS BASED ON THE YEARLY TARGET BY ALIGNING COMPANY GOALS AND STRATEGIES TO DEEPEN AND BROADEN THE PARTNERSHIP ENGAGEMENT WITH ERICSSON. THE RED HAT BUSINESS WITH ERICSSON IS LEADING INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY IN THE AREA WHERE TELCO MEETS IT. AS A STRATEGIC ACCOUNTS MANAGER, YOU'LL LEAD THE SALES TEAM, SOLUTIONS ARCHITECTS, AND OTHER ASSOCIATES TOGETHER WITH THE GLOBAL ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT TO ACHIEVE HIGH RESULTS IN ORDER TO MAXIMIZE REVENUE AND LONG-TERM GROWTH. YOU'LL REPORT TO THE GLOBAL DIRECTOR OF TELCO SALES WITHIN THE RED HAT TELCO, MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT (TME) ORGANIZATION. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITHIN A CULTURE OF ONGOING LEARNING, COLLABORATION, FUN, AND TRUST.


PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - MANAGE AND OVERSEE ALL ASPECTS OF THE BUSINESS: STRATEGY, PRESALES, SALES, DELIVERY, CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE, AND CUSTOMER FOCUS
• SERVE AS THE MAIN POINT OF CONTACT FOR ERICSSON STRATEGIC SOURCING AND PROCUREMENT IN STOCKHOLM
• DEFINE AND PRESENT COMMERCIAL PROPOSALS
• BE RESPONSIBLE FOR EXTERNAL AND INTERN CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS
• BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL PRODUCTION OF BUSINESS CASES
• DEFINE ACCOUNT STRATEGY AND LEAD THE TEAM IN FULFILLMENT
• ADVOCATE FOR AND SUPPORT END-USER OR COMMUNICATION SERVICE PROVIDER (CSP) ACCOUNT TEAMS
• PROVIDE ACCURATE FORECAST MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING
• LEAD AND COACH THE EXTENDED AND GLOBAL TEAM TOGETHER WITH THE GLOBAL ACCOUNT MANAGER
REQUIRED SKILLS: - EXPERIENCE IN MANAGING LARGE AND COMPLEX GLOBAL ACCOUNTS AS A QUOTA CARRIER; OVERALL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SKILLS, E.G., SALES, DELIVERY, CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, TEAM LEADERSHIP
• PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE WITH A MAJOR NETWORK EQUIPMENT PROVIDER (NEP); PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE WITH ERICSSON AND CURRENT NETWORK WITHIN ERICSSON HEADQUARTERS, ESPECIALLY BGDS AND BNEW IS A BIG PLUS
• GOOD TECHNICAL UNDERSTANDING OF IT AND THE TELCO INDUSTRY, AND ABILITY TO CONNECT THE DOTS AND UNDERSTAND THE SHORT-MID-LONG TERM IMPACT OF TECHNOLOGY IN BUSINESS AND VICE-VERSA
• EXPERIENCE IN DIRECT SALES, PARTNERSHIP MANAGEMENT, AND ANSWERING AND COORDINATING REQUESTS FOR X (RFXS) PROCESSES
• STRATEGIC VISION WITH A PRACTICAL ATTITUDE
• ABILITY TO MANAGE, COACH, AND MOTIVATE THE TEAM, AND LEAD BY EXAMPLE IN AN INTERNATIONAL AND DIVERSE ENVIRONMENT
• EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH SALESFORCE
• EXCELLENT PRESENTATION SKILLS; ABILITY TO PRESENT TO VARIOUS AUDIENCES, INCLUDING TECHNICAL, COMMERCIAL, AND CXO LEVEL
• FLUENT WRITTEN AND VERBAL LANGUAGE SKILLS IN ENGLISH; COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN SWEDISH ARE A BIG PLUS
• WILLINGNESS TO TRAVEL UP TO 50%, FOLLOWING RED HAT'S COVID-19 GUIDELINES
