Strategic Account Sales Manager - Damco, Sweden
Damco in Sweden is looking for a Strategic Account Sales Manager with extensive experience within Supply Chain Management and Project Management with a proven track record of landing sophisticated and large logistics clients. The position is located in Stockholm or Gothenburg, Sweden.
Job Description:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan aimed at identifying opportunities and expanding business in the target segments and verticals
• Collaborate closely with overseas network to coordinate account activities
• Lead local effort and coordinate with overseas counterpart on tender
• Identify and develop relationships with key decision makers at all levels within an account
• Understand the customer's business (strategically, operationally, financially)
• Work across Damco to create tailored solutions that deliver value to customers
• Leverage company resources (solution experts, industry experts, operations, and executive support) to assist in developing account
• Manage communication and strategy within accounts
• Participate in the organization of customer forums and related events
• Maintain close involvement with account post-sale to proactively identify additional opportunities, competitive threats and operational issues
• Successfully transition account to operations
• Further develop account plan and relationships for additional revenue opportunities
• Work closely with Operations to deliver high level of service to customers
Qualification:
• Must have at least 4 years experience in successfully selling preferably to large size clients
• Excellent communication skill, both spoken and written English and knowledge in one of the Scandinavian languages
• Good track record of sales, business development or account development
• Good freight forwarding and supply chain industry knowledge and/or experience
• Solution selling concepts and methodologies are advantageous
