hela Sverige SSAB is looking for two engineers to manage the development of our key product portfolios, Hardox® and Strenx®. A unique chance where you influence product, process and market development. Placement preferably Oxelösund.
The Job
These positions are new and strategic important related to our present and future, world leading product portfolios. Hardox® and Strenx® are strong brand names globally and represent the largest and most important products for SSAB Special Steels. You will report and work close to the Product Manager in a broad spectrum of tasks, activities and projects connected to the development of either Hardox® or Strenx®. Both as materials, but also regarding everything else that affects the success of the brand in the market. Oxelösund is the preferred location for these positions, but other solutions can be discussed.
In your daily work you will network with all the functions involved in the creation of the products and our offer; Product Development, Process Development, Quality, Production but also to some extent Knowledge Service Center, Tech Support, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, etc. This to secure that the development process runs according to plan and with high quality. Since Hardox® and Strenx® are manufactured in Oxelösund, Borlänge, Raahe & Mobile you will have close contact to these sites and travel there when needed.
Your profile
This important role needs you who handle large responisbility and mandate and dare to question and challenge when needed. We believe our candidates have knowledge in material science and technical knowledge of material and process, gathered from experience or university. Prievious experience from production will be to your advantage.
As a person you are honest, reliable and self-going and you have the capability to implement decisions that are important for SSAB, but maybe not favorable for everyone involved. You have good communication skills in both English and Swedish and you are comfortable presenting to people on different levels in the organization.
