hela Sverige Key Duties and Responsibilities
Work with the Payroll Administrator in the monthly processing of all salary information including, but not limited to:
• Work closely with HR to ensure all relevant monthly change data is received in time for processing for both Finland and Sweden
• Process and control management for SOX controls, including change and design management to ensure compliance.
• Be the subject matter expert, and manage complex inpat and expat tax issues, such as Expert Tax Relief, cross country social security laws, and taxation of relocation expenses and benefits.
• Work closely with Comp & Bens to ensure all benefits are reported and processed correctly through payroll, including the reporting to Collectum & Soderberg & Partners
• Reviewing of Per Diems claims to ensure compliant
• Monitor and remain completely up-to-date with all legislative changes
• Payroll reporting for Finance
• Respond to all queries from employees, authorities and managers
• Labor law queries, such as parental leave, sick leave, leavers, starters and contractual issues
Central Statistics Reporting
• Administration of reports to Försäkringskassan regarding employees sick leave, parental leave, income forms
• Reconciliation, and closure of the tax year end processes
• Work with the Payroll Administrator in the monthly processing of the Company Share Schemes
• Manage the processing of various share schemes via the payroll as required by local legislation, including Stock Plans, RSU Plans and ESPP
• Reconcile monthly ESPP contributions and ensure data is submitted to the US in accordance with deadlines
• Ensure full legislation compliance in accordance with published external timetables e.g. Tax, Social Security authorities in order to prevent penalties for late payment/reporting
• Look for areas of process improvement and attempt to eliminate the need for manual processing
• Refine and streamline existing processes to better serve other EA partners and customers.
• Manage current payroll service and identify opportunities for cost reductions
• Management of the Payroll Administrator
• Pass on knowledge and expertise to enable them to Learn & Grow
• Setting of annual objectives and goals
The Challenge Ahead
Management of the Swedish (Hogia) and Finnish (Visma) Payroll systems and to ensure legislative compliance in both countries and to ensure employees are paid accurately and within established tax laws.
To identify areas of process improvement and work with other internal EA partners such as HR and Finance to streamline processes and build strong relationships.
Development and management of the Payroll Administrator, and to enable them to learn and grow.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
• 5+ years' experience in a busy payroll function
• Experience with Hogia and Visma essential
• Experience of inpats and expats
• Excellent MS Excel experience is a pre-requisite
• Educated to a good standard
• Holds a relevant Payroll Qualification
• Expertise in Swedish and Finnish payroll legislation
• Fluent spoken and written English
