As a Senior Business Analyst, you will have an integral part in ensuring we stay on top of the market and continue to enrich and simplify the consumers' lives.
Samsung continues to grow and is now looking for a Senior Business Analyst for our Management Control Team. In this role, you will be a key player in the Management control team by providing relevant analysis results to the management group timely. Active support as an in-house business consultant to the management group is the main responsibility.
Role & Responsibilities:
The Management Control Team plays a crucial role in supporting decision-making within the management group. You will work closely with our CFO, CEO, and head of departments. We have an overarching view of the business status, monitoring performance from business planning to actual outcomes by tracking key performance indicators. Additionally, we conduct analyses on various business-related topics.
The main tasks of the role are:
Coordinating business planning (current month forecast, 3 month-rolling target plan, and yearly management plan)
Monitoring and verifying the month-end closing result
Drive in-depth analysis on profitability in different level of dimensions
Support ad-hoc requests from top management
Maintaining the cost-controlling structure, reflecting the business environment
Play a key role in the business planning (yearly, quarterly, monthly) and review processes, providing analytical and strategic support to internal stakeholders throughout the organization
Coordinate the month-end closing to support the cross-department cooperation
Leverage data analytics and visualization tools to deliver insights on operational trends and financial results regularly to management group
Assist with the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external reporting requests, as well as automating reporting processes
Play a strategic role in the monitoring and planning of the company's different levels of overhead cost
Participate in the simulation of profitability in business cases, as well as advanced quantitative analysis and financial models
Assist with other ad hoc tasks to ensure the Management control team manages its deliverables to Europe HQ and HQ
Skills & Qualifications:
In this role, we are looking for someone who has a passion to learn and grow. If you enjoy analytical work and solving challenges and problems this is a role for you. It will be crucial that you work in an organized and structured way. Apart from that you will need to have good interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
We are looking for someone with:
Academic degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or similar
10+ years of business/financial analysis experience in the international environment
Excellence in MS Office (especially Excel)
Business professional level in English and Korean, both written and spoken
It is also a bonus if you are
Fluent in Swedish (or another Nordic language)
In the role, it is important that you possess language proficiency in both Korean and English, have relevant experience in a similar role, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
