Pulp Competence Centre is an expert unit of Stora Enso that supports our chemical pulp mills with services including R&D, operational improvement and technical support. Our vision is to have leading edge competence in adding value to our fibre supply chain and pulp making. The R&D team works both in short-term process and product improvement area and in future product and process creation. Today Pulp Competence Centre has 23 full-time employees.
We are now searching for a specialist in the field of fibre properties of pulp and its use in air laid and hygiene products.
Your tasks will be to
• lead development projects for improved fluff products
• support the mills in technical customer service and in trouble shooting
• create relevant laboratory services for the area
Requirements for the position:
• excellent skills in fibre and cellulose chemistry, fibre physics and pulp end use
• working experience in the segment of hygiene products
• graduation in chemistry or paper/pulp technology
• enthusiasm for applied and result driven research work
• team player skills and a positive mind-set
• ability to communicate in various languages, especially in English
• willingness to travel
