Looking for a challenging job in a highly professional organization where you can make a difference? We need a Sourcing Specialist who will work closely with the Sourcing Process Leader and assigned Sourcing Leaders for the different Global Sourcing commodities on execution of strategies to ensure realization of the business objectives for Supplier Risk Management, Security of Supply, Supplier compliance and related processes and projects.
Key responsibilities include:
• Drive and execute strategic sourcing initiatives and projects within the area of Supplier Risk Management and other sourcing related projects and processes.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to collect external and internal information needed for the execution of the projects.
• Data analysis and consolidation, creation of power points and project reports.
Typical activities to be executed:
• Extract data from ERP systems and consolidate in excel.
• Manage supplier Business Continuity surveys
• Communicate with suppliers via e-mail (business English required) and telephone to collect Business Continuity related information.
• Handle initial analysis of collected data
• Collect and analyze internal data to be used for supplier risk assessments.
• Drive identified risk mitigating activities supporting the Sourcing Leaders.
• Collect and consolidate internal supplier information based on customer requests
• Create power point summarizing statistic etc.to be presented to the sourcing management etc.
• Create project reports (business English required)
• Archiving of data in supplier database
• Be active in simplification initiatives improving concerned processes
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering technical discipline
• Some years of Sourcing or Supply Chain experience
• Good knowledge of handling large data sets in Excel, compiling information in power point presentations and experience from working with databases and ERP systems is an asset
• Fluent in English (business) speaking and writing
