Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

The purchasing group for special vehicle adaptations, S-order, FFU & Defence, is responsible for sourcing of parts to vehicles tailor made to meet specific customers ' requirements.

You will belong to a team of 12 highly motivated colleagues who source production material in close cooperation with cross functions like R&D, production and aftermarket inside the world of Scania. We make a contribution to that also tomorrows' delivery of goods is done an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner.

Our success is based on the usage of the well-tuned processes and with a result oriented mindset, as well as our openness to challenge our own methods in the process of adapting to new situations.

Your job is to source parts to the right technology, quality, cost - and on time. You have a proven ability to deliver value to your organisation, preferably from purchasing but maybe also from areas like production or R&D. You will contribute to Scania 's success in introducing new technologies in a fast and secure way.

You will need to use your common sense. You will have to navigate between competing interests from different areas within Scania, ensure that the best deal is reached while maintaining and developing good relationships with the stakeholders.

But don't worry, you will also be surrounded, included and respected by probably the most talented, dedicated and diverse individuals in the industry of automotive & commercial vehicles. Together you will make difference in the journey towards sustainable transports.
