Here is the opportunity for you ...
As Solution Leader you are the Volvo Group IT interface to the business stakeholders and are responsible to secure that the business and IT requirements are addressed. You will support the full utilization of solutions within Central Systems (Plan & Schedule). You will play a key part of an experienced team of professionals who deliver innovative IT solutions. You will get the opportunity to work closely with Volvo Truck divisions and Business Areas and develop IT solutions that solve concrete challenges and business problems.

Examples of responsibilities are;
• Manage the Process & Solution Key User network in collaboration with the Business Process Developer
• Main point of contact for business requirement, roll out needs etc.
• Create and keep IT Solution delivery plan (i.e. yearly maintenance plan and release plan) up to date within the budget frame
• Project Manager for releases
• Ensure that the solution lifecycle is properly executed
• Define and decide which business functionality, or information integrity tests to be part of a user acceptance test
• Set the business requirements for hand over from projects to maintenance
• Secure solution competence for functional application support

Knowledge about Automotive and Embedded Software domain knowledge is added value.
General competences
• Relevant university degree or equivalent
• Proven experience of team work where collaboration is a key factor to success
• Experience from working in an IT delivery organization including solid knowledge about methods used
• Project management experience is an advantage
• Complete proficiency in English is a requirement
• Ability to drive change
• Good understanding of both business, IT and a capability to actively use IT to develop business
• Have a leadership characterized by high level of integrity and trust based on ethics and values
