Mines tend to be in remote areas far away from our normal service network and many customers are operating globally. Our aim is to build up safe and cost efficient transport solutions tailor made for each individual mine site wherever they are in the world. We are mainly working through our normal Scania distribution network.
Your Role
You will support, coordinate and lead projects of various kind in our daily work of making diagnoses of our customers transport operations with regard to operational economy, flow optimisation and sustainability. Based on this you will support coordinate and lead smaller projects in the tailoring of solutions, i.e. specifying the appropriate equipment and services.
Part of the job will be to set up and improve methods and tools related to your work.
The job will include direct contact with our distributors, dealers and customers, as well as with many internal Scania departments and it will require some travelling.
The position offers you an excellent opportunity to build commercial experience, to get to know the Mining industry and to understand the Scania way of doing business in Solution Sales. It is a great platform to grow into more challenging positions in the Scania organisation.
Who you are?
You have experience or knowledge from services sales/development preferably at Dealer/Distributor level, and you think that digitalisation opportunities enables us to take the lead towards the best solution provider within the transport business. If you have worked with digitalisation within the transport and logistic industry it 's a merit.
You are entrepreneurial with a good analytical skill. We think you have an Academic degree or equivalent and some experience or knowledge from lean principles. Mining and/or Oil and gas Industry experience is also desirable.
The candidate must be able to speak and write English fluently. Knowledge in other languages is a merit.
