Software Verification Engineer to Audiological Software Department
The primary task is to run software and system verification, improve and write test cases for our manual and automated verification tools. Improve software test methodology regarding unit testing, test coverage on software level and system testing together with the hearing device verification engineers.
Key responsibilities
• Drive improvements of software test philosophy and methodology
• Create and improve test solutions to increase test coverage while minimizing work load needed for test in order to ensure high usability and performance of software system
• Create documentation and update and run our verification tools when the group is adding new functionality in the applications
• Ensure that the software meets all the regulatory and quality demands by following our processes
• Tight collaboration with software development team members and cross functional with the sound processor department
Key requirements
• Bachelor or Master Degree or similar in Computer Science or electronics
• Experience in functional testing: ability to develop software testing process, test plan and strategy for testing, testing scenarios, reporting and analyzing test results
• Experience in functional test automation is considered a merit: Data Driven Keyword Driven approach, languages of programming at the level necessary to ensure scripts development
• Ability to work within a team according to an Agile process
• Fluent English in speech and written is a requirement
• Experience in using measuring tools in lab environment is considered a merit
• Experience in developing/structuring unit tests is considered a merit
• Experience from audio engineering is considered a merit
• Experience from the medical technology industry is considered a merit
