The Core SW Development department is responsible for development and verification of the future platforms which our fantastic handsets are developed on. Currently we are looking to strengthen our Core SW Verification Team. The Verification Engineer role is about participating in all project phases, the development and verification of new features, legacy, and stabilization. Improvements projects are also part of the tasks.

We are looking for well-educated and innovative engineers to support our development and verification team. You will be able to work with new technologies within wide areas of technology. The Core SW Verification team is an important part of the final quality in our handsets; it is very decisive for the success of our products. Our challenge is to deliver according to expectations, with the right quality, time and cost.

Utbildning/erfarenhet
This position requires an understanding of the basic principles of how today's mobile operative systems work. Furthermore, it takes a systematic approach and determination as well as an eye for good quality, always having the end-users in mind. The applicant should have a high technical knowledge and interest for SW development and be passionate about SW verification.

You have a Masters degree in Computer Science, or equivalent. You have a genuine interest for the telecom industry and have a good programming knowledge. We are looking for a talented team player who show initiative and take ownership. A core value of our company is passion for success.

Qualifications and skills needed:
• Master of Computer Science or similar level of education.
• Working experience is not required.
• Good programming knowledge in Java and C is beneficial.
• Good scripting knowledge within LUA, Python, Perl etc. is considered as a plus.
• Excellent knowledge working with Android, Linux Kernel and Windows.
• Genuine interest in development/debugging/verification, working closely with the developer teams.
• Good communication skills and a great team player (Teamwork and building relationship).
• Highly self-driven problem solver and eager to learn (Taking initiative and being proactive).
• Good English verbal and writing skills are needed as we work in a Global organization.
• Efficiency, Cost and quality awareness.
• Flexible towards changes.
• Ability to comprehend, summarize and present both in orally and in written.
