We are now looking for a Software Quality Lead
Are you passionate about Software Quality Assurance and would like to be a part of the Volvo Cars journey to become a Software Company?
Within SWEP Solution Support we are responsible for processes and methods for Functional Safety and Quality Assurance from concept development to running production. We are also supporting the organization with Continuous Improvements and Competence Development. As a part of this team you are collaborating with people throughout the Research and Development organization and have the possibility to build a broad network within the company. Since we as a company are focusing more on Software Development we need to further strengthen our competence within Software Quality Assurance.
As a Software Quality Lead, you will be part of the Software & Electronics organization where you will support the organization to improve the quality of our software. You will play an important role in developing and improving the Software Development process and Built-In Quality. One important area is to support the implementation of Continuous Integration. In this role you will work with both processes and methods, but also with Continuous Improvement as a Change Leader.
What you will do
Coach the solution to achieve the required product maturity levels at integrations. Develop quality visualizations and KPIs that encourages Built in Quality mindset in the Solution. Support Performance dialogues.
Support test and integration strategy and planning. Support R&D and Solution quality WoW as an integrated part in the SW development process. Collaborate with other functions within the company to improve the quality in products and relevant methodology.
You and your skills
To be successful in this role we see that you have knowledge within Software Quality Assurance and Testing, with experience also from driving improvement initiatives within Quality. You have worked with agile development and Continuous Integration. You communicate well in English both in written and oral form and have a Master of Science in Electrical or Software development. You have a strong ability to drive engagement and build networks.
