hela Sverige The Hardware/Software Engineering Supervisor is responsible with the project management, including the execution, tracking and reporting.
He/she will report the status to the management team, will manage the resources needed by project and will be responsible with the PMP with the employees and salary reviews.
YOUR ROLE
• Provide technical leadership and direct staff to ensure delivery of high quality designs and consistent product delivery to meet budgets, schedules, and expectations;
• Manage engineering resources within your team and within cross-functional project teams;
• Manage research & development projects assigned to this functional line;
• Monitor and ensure consistent product delivery on customer and research & development projects for Automatic Train Control deliverables;
• Develop the team and team members to achieve full potential in assigned roles;
• Establish employee performance objectives and conduct performance and salary reviews;
• Create and implement career development plans to improve employee performance, skills, motivation, and engagement.
• Work with other international Tools teams to standardize processes and support reuse and sharing of products between the teams.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software or Electrical Engineering or related discipline; A Master's Degree will be an asset.
Minimum 3 years of technical project management and/or supervisory experience in transportation, engineering, software development, or a related field;
You demonstrate a proven track record of successful project completion on schedule and within budget;
You possess extensive experience leading project engineering teams;
You demonstrate the ability to operate independently while establishing strong working relationships with co-workers and cross-functional teams;
You possess critical attention to detail and deadlines, and are self-motivated;
You demonstrate the ability to adapt well to change in direction and priorities in a project and deadline-oriented environment;
You demonstrate excellent written and verbal English and Swedish communication skills.
Experience with Java is a plus.
