Our software eco-system is based on an optimization engine (simply the best in the world) developed in-house, with a domain-specific programming language, a middle-layer defining the data model and an Eclipse/RCP based customizable GUI.

As a member of the Atlas team, you will be working in close cooperation with our developers and system administrators, helping merge these worlds in an efficient manner. We expect you to be committed and self-sufficient, as well as helpful and collaborative. You will be part of a team driving and supporting Continuous Integration practices and functions.

The ideal candidate is a true believer of DevOps ?practices and mindset? and should have at least 3 years of experience in this area. Experience in closely related areas such as system administration, reliable systems, high availability and professional software development is a plus. You are passionate about keeping yourself up-to-date with current best practices and not afraid to get your hands dirty implementing them.

Must haves:
• Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree
• C/C++ or Java or Eclipse/RCP programming experience
• Good knowledge of heterogeneous environments (Unix/Linux/Windows)
• Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux/Windows system administration

Additional merits:
• Master of Science or equivalent degree
• Experience with common build tools such as Maven, Tycho, CMake, Make, hg, gcc, etc.
• Scripting experience, e.g. Bash, Python, Ruby
• Experience working with sysadm automation tools such as Chef or CFEngine.
