As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for developing software that is a competitive advantage to our business comprising the entire software life cycle (design, development, test, release, and maintenance) and to translate business needs into working software. Regardless of area, tools, or languages, you will build and configure solutions that are easy to maintain, change, keep safe and integrate to complementary technology, enabling a constant delivery pace to be kept indefinitely. This is achieved through continuous attention to technical excellence and good design, with extensive use of automation.
Responsibilities
Translate product strategy and requirements into suitable, maintainable, and scalable solution design according to existing architecture guardrails
Ensure software programs and devices work together seamlessly, with focus on integrating complementary technology into commercial software across functional areas
Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development
Decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions that operationally scale and are easily maintained
Ensure that technical solutions follow best practices, are reliable, are easily maintainable and are scalable under sustained load
Drive testing and deployment of software solutions, including ensuring automated testing to ensure solution quality
Build and operate infrastructure, toolset, and deployment pipelines
Identify and share best practices with other teams as well as produce necessary documentation
Implement and manage secure systems
Qualifications
Deep knowledge and competence in tech and/or computer science
Experience within Cloud, DevOps, CI, API: s, Automation, Agile methodologies, and Software Development/Architecture
Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
Experience in the design of a platform architecture based on most recent technologies and innovations
Experience in building high-performing and secure software solutions according to the customer needs with given tools and languages
Experience of test and deploy of technical solutions, including automated testing and test data creation
