Job Description:
We are looking for a SW engineer to strengthen our TV development team. Someone that is a quick learner, passionate about learning new skills and has a strong internal drive to succeed. Someone that is good at building professional relationships and enjoys being part of an agile team where the members share knowledge and solves problems together.
We are looking for someone with technical skills and knowledge to perform work like design/design documentation, algorithms, advanced unit testing, risk analysis, tool evaluations, code review as well as technical planning and execution.
About us:
Our team is responsible for the Broadcast HbbTV development area for the European market on our TV's and we are working in close collaboration with our colleagues in Japan and UK. The team consists of SW project leads and developers with long experience in Android development. They plan and execute their work, optimize and adapt ways of working, continuously improve their knowledge and take full responsibility for our deliverables. We are looking for a developer to strengthen the team.
Your profile:
Expert in Android platform and Android development
Master of Science degree in computer science
Java/Kotlin experience with a solid interest in programming and software development
JavaScript experience
Git/Gerrit/Jenkins experience
JIRA/Scrum experience
Fluent in English
An advantage for this position:
Previous experience working with Android TV development
C++ experience
Web standards and implementations of them
Python
Test automatization
Basic AI and Linux knowledge
