At Vehicle Software Factory, a part of Vehicle Technology, our mission is to provide the best development toolchain in the automotive business for our Software Developers in Volvo Group Trucks Technology. And in this way, we can bring new products to the market quicker than our competition. We believe that working with software is a creative process and it should be fast! The engineers should focus on the technical challenges of our products and not the shortcomings of our development tools or processes.
What you will do
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our quest for One Product CI. We are at the beginning of a journey, and you are welcome to join and influence the road we are paving.
As a Software Engineer in the Development Operations team, you will actively participate in enabling continuous integration on the product level, while a separate team is responsible for the infrastructure level. You will drive the development and optimization of tools that support state-of-the-art software delivery, ensuring it reaches all the way to the truck.
You will support and enhance the developer experience while also improving ease of use and reliability.
Who are you?

Comfortable working both independently and as a part of a team, you take initiatives and are contributing to cross-functional technical solutions. With a value-driven development approach, you prioritize effectively delivering both business goals and customer needs.
You are a true team player with strong interpersonal skills. Curious by nature, you explore new technologies, and share insights, engaging with stakeholders to drive product enablement with a solution-focused mindset.
You bring more than 5 years of experience in software development in the automotive industry and have solid knowledge in:
* Modern cloud architecture
* CI/CD and test automation
* Python
* C#
It is considered a plus if you are already familiar with SW Configurator, KOLA, and SEWS.
