The Role
We are looking for experienced Software Engineers who wants to join us in establishing our new global footprint and our journey towards changing how intelligent software in the car will interact with its users.
You will be part of a platform team, working with design and implementation of an infotainment platform based on Android Automotive technology.
We use an agile development flow. All our teams are fully responsible for the complete chain from product expectations to deployed functionality.
What you will be doing
You will be an integral part of the growing ECARX ecosystem, creating great experiences for car users all over the world through smarter in-car digital systems
Developing low-level software for future infotainment systems
Design, implement and test platform related features in Android and QNX OS
Define and develop the platform SW architecture jointly with the development team
Cooperation with both internal and external stakeholders to define protocols and interfaces in the SW platform
Our platform teams typically work with configuration and optimization, networking, IP protocols, Vehicle SWDL and cyber security.

Many years of Linux or Android system development
Expert in C/C++ and Python as well as having a solid knowledge in object-oriented programming concepts.
Knowledge in automotive base tech, diagnostic framework and networking
You have a higher technical degree in computer science or equivalent
You thoroughly enjoy technical challenges and solving them together with colleagues
You have full professional proficiency in English. Swedish is optional but preferred.
Intercultural project experience is an advantage
Additional helpful skills
System architecture design
Automotive and in-vehicle infotainment experience
Background in working with software development in SCRUM teams according to SCRUM foundations and way of working
Background in working with the Atlassian suite, including JIRA and Confluence
Background in working with Android AOSP and Automotive HAL
Experience in working with Linux Kernel and BSP development
Experience with software development and testing in a CI/CD and automation environment
Experience in QNX development,
Automotive SWDL
