Do You want to be part of the DigitalRoute success story? Do you want to play a role in the next stage of our exciting growth? We are looking for an engaged and inventive Software Configuration Manager to help us improve our development and release speed.
In this position, you will support our development teams in their daily work with the Version Control System. You will help to continuously improve the tools we use to build and release our product. Our teams work in a fast-paced Agile environment where speed and flexibility need to be carefully balanced with the just the right amount of control and structure. You will need to master that balance.
Task summary:
• Managing the Version Control System and our branching model.
• Assisting the teams hands-on with Git.
• Maintaining and Improving our Continous Integration and Release environment.
As our product is built primarily in Java, we are looking for candidates who have a couple of years experience in Java so that they can handle merge conflicts on their own. You must also be knowledgeable in the version control system Git and have some experience in Continuous Integration systems such as Jenkins. The right candidate might presently be junior in their role as Configuration Manager.
We believe that the right personality is critical to success in our environment and want to find some who is as passionate about continuous integration, new technologies and Agile development as we are. You need to be used to taking responsibility and enjoy solving problems as part of a team. You are also good at building relations and are comfortable speaking and writing in English and Swedish.
Skill summary:
• Java programming experience.
• Experience in Git Version Control System.
• Understanding of and passion in Continuous Integration concepts and systems.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Knowledge in Agile development methods, like Scrum or Kanban, is a plus.
• Flexible yet structured.
