The Software Configuration Management team within the Product Development department at Jeppesen Gothenburg, Sweden is looking for a Software Configuration Management Specialist to be involved in development, maintenance and support of the complex CM infrastructure used by a number of development teams and projects.
Jeppesen Gothenburg's primary build/development environment is centralized and mainly consists of Linux (RHEL) servers. SLES/Solaris/AIX/HPUX operating systems are supported as well. We use Imake, Gmake, CMake, Ant, Maven tools to build C++/Java/Python code on a number of supported platforms.
The main focus of this position will be development and maintenance of the build system and infrastructure required for Java and OSGi/Eclipse RCP applications and integrating it into the existing SCM process.
The successful candidate requires the following experience:
Build engineering on Linux/Windows platforms for Java applications
Deploying and/or supporting Eclipse PDE infrastructure
Resolving issues related to the dependency management and binary compatibility
Working in the heterogeneous environments (UNIX/Linux/Windows)
Supporting build systems for C++ code on Linux/UNIX
Integrating various SCM build tools and environments
Supporting development projects
Writing SCM plans and keeping them up to date
