We think you are Bachelor or Master with years of experience. You have the ability to get an understanding of a function even if the floor is not complete and is easy to work with both colleagues in the project and with external contacts such as end-users. You have a great interest to support and streamline business operations through the method and process improvements, tool use and tool alignment.
You have the ability to express yourself in written and spoken Swedish and English.
Your workplace
Security and Defence Solutions, a business area of Saab, offers command and control systems, airborne early warning systems, civil security systems and solutions, training and simulation, as well as telecom carrier.
We are looking for new employees to our tool support team with expert knowledge about software build environment.
In new development projects on marine side of Järfälla we use Apache Maven as build and distribution tool. We use Maven for multiple functions, for building Java components, to distribute binaries in several languages in the organization through our Nexus Server and to set up our systems.
Your role
We need someone who can hold together and manage our generic software build environment. Your role is to support both the integrating intelligent building solutions from individual teams and to understand the complexity of the whole build environment. We see that you are passionate about the importance of low complexity, teaching practices and automation build.
To accomplish this we are looking for someone who has experience of the majority of the following points:
• Linux.
• Java. Experience with Java and build tools for Java such as Ant.
• Apache Maven. Experience of having worked with Maven professional and have knowledge of Mavens lifecycle, pom-descriptions and local / remote repositories. Preferably familiar with how to write Mavenplugins. Taking advantage of knowledge about what is "The Maven Way" and what is difficult to realize with great Maven
• Experience in organizations where automated deployment of built artifacts between the teams.
