As an SMA Preparation Engineer (production engineer) within the PBA Prototyping Department, your task is to prepare our production systems/machines to be able to manufacture needed PBA 's. You will prepare our "Pick and place machines" including "Screen printing/Jet printing" and "Reflow oven/Vapor Phase". You will also be included in the development of our production processes and to prepare products so that these fulfill Ericsson 's high demands on quality, producibility and cost. This means that you will work cross functional closely to different roles and functions within our Site in Kista as well as together with our stakeholders. The focus today is to enable the 5G prototype/testbed role out.
In your role as SMA Preparation Engineer, your main tasks will include:
• Manage to prepare PBA production systems e.g. Pick & Place machines, screen printers/jet printer and reflow oven/Vapor Phase equipment 's
• Manage product & production process data
• Manage production equipment and SW included for these
About you
You will need a bachelor 's degree and/or a technical degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field, or relevant work experience within the area. You also have experience to prepare Fuji NXT Pick & Place machines. Furthermore, also have PBA/PCB and electrical component competence. To be successful in this role you will need to have an outgoing and positive attitude, analytical skills, willingness to take responsibility and enthusiasm in facing new problems and opportunities. Since the job involves international contacts outside and within Ericsson, fluent English and Swedish is a demand together with good communication and writing skills.
Important for the role:
• Surface Mount Technology & Assembly knowledge
• Highly advantage is the you have experience to prepare Fuji NXT Pick & Place machines
• HW and machine knowledge
• PBA building practice knowledge
• Electrical component knowledge
• Programing skills is an advantage
Preferred Qualification & Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor 's degree or a technical degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field, or relevant work experience within the area
• Highly advantage is the you have experience to prepare Fuji NXT Pick & Place machines
• Approx. 3 - 5 years relevant experience is required
