hela Sverige The Business Unit Trucks is an organization within the Automotive Division. It serves the global truck market with standard and tailor made solutions, following the SKF platform concept. The Business Unit follows and serves almost all customers globally. Those customers are within the truck, bus and trailer segments. Main application areas are wheel-ends, differentials, transmissions, propeller-shafts, steering and engines. The organization is responsible for all vehicles with gross vehicle weight (GVW) above 3.5 tons.
The SKF business with this Key Account ranks amongst the top 5 customers of our business unit. The number of opportunities in all application segments such as trucks, buses, construction and other equipment involving all platforms is tremendous! From engines of all sizes to axles for on and off-road vehicles as well as gearboxes, SKF has a unique value proposition offering meeting this customer?s objective in terms of safety and reduced emissions in particular. We are already recognized as a solution provider by the customer in many areas and have successfully finalized a number of deals thanks to helping them solve some very critical technical issues. Your challenge is to further strengthen SKF?s position on a global base and to make this account a truly global and profitable customer for SKF.
Job description:
• Coordinate all relationships and opportunities in order to effectively deliver customer value for sustained profitable growth.
• Responsible for customer relationship management at all levels.
• Lead, coordinate and follow up activities cross Divisions/Business Units, cross functional and cross countries.
• Represent SKF as the knowledge engineering company providing value propositions through the five platforms.
• Optimize the total business life cycle of SKF offering.
• Responsible for the strategy and business plan development, approval and it's deployment.
• Responsible for achieving profitable growth, pricing and cost development and contribute to scorecard targets (operational and strategic).
• Lead negotiations for corporate contracts and/or global programs.
• Motivate and coordinate the experts in the core and extended teams.
• Follow-up the Profit (TVA) and the Sales Growth developments with the customer.
• Explore and gain new business opportunities.
Experience:
• At least 10 years experience in sales/marketing/technical environment.
• University degree (BA or Masters) in business or technical area.
• Experience in dealing with customers and all management levels of a customer.
• Experience from Purchasing and/or sales are very advantageous.
Personality:
To drive the SKF growth and retention strategy with this key account, you will need:
• Excellent business understanding, high customer focus, commercial attitude and capability to adapt to dynamic and innovative environment.
• Ability to put strategy into action as well as to set plans and organize priorities, delivering long term profitable growth.
• Excellent leadership, self confidence and decision making skills, and proven ability to manage business in a global multicultural context and through a multi-national team.
• Fluency in English as well as Swedish.
• Availability to travel.
