Essity Hygiene and Health AB, Edet Mill is looking for a Site Controller.
The Site Controller will be responsible for the co-ordination of controlling processes and will be the functional manager of the controlling and accounting group at the mill. This role reports to Site Manager and is a member of the Site Leadership Team.
The jobholder is further responsible for internal pricing updates, management of sales and general ledgers and balance sheet, and capital expenditure reporting, including monitoring the relevant internal controls. The jobholder will also liaise with the sales controllers in providing accurate cost information for current, new, and proposed new products.
The job is based in Lilla Edet. Some travelling may be required.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
Providing concise financial and operational reporting; analyses, support and advice to the site and the Regional Controlling Coordinator
Leading and supporting the forecast process for the site, both short term and long term
Conducting AP tendency consistency checks vs. AP assumptions
Supporting during budget set-up, proposing and presenting the regional bottom-up targets to the Regional Controlling Coordinator
Coordinating the Capex process for the site including preparation of investments requests
Developing and implementing systems of work which comply with Essitys internal control requirements, and ensuring effective resolution of instances of non-conformance
Identifying, leading and supporting continuous improvement activities in a proactive manner, especially regarding relevance, timeliness and accuracy of financial and operational reports or analyses
Actively drive and promote cost consciousness on site
Participate in controlling projects, integration tasks and training
Liaising with internal and external customers, being a committed member of the controlling network
Secure that accounting and reporting rules are being maintained and followed
Lead and develop the controlling team at Edet Mill
Contribute in the site leadership team and drive change management
Education & Experience
University degree in economics, or equivalent
Several years of financial controller experience within production company, preferably from international working environment and change management
Basic knowledge in legal accounting
Very good level in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
Experience of working with integrated ERP systems
Experience from SAP is an advantage
Very good level in Excel
Personality Capabilities
To succeed in this role you need to have high analytical skills and be able to switch between the holistic and the detailed perspective. You have the capability to drive change and establish new routines and methods.
As a leader, you are genuinely engaged in people and you are good at communicating effectively.
