hela Sverige Our department, Systems Architecture, is responsible for the development of the future platform architecture but we also coordinate and facilitate the adaptations that are ordered by our customers.
We are part of a global organization within electrical engineering and electronics, which has four units in Sweden, and four spread out in France, India, USA and Japan. International contacts are part of our daily life so being fluent in English both written and oral is a must.
As our Single Point Of Contact for customer adaptations you will be part of a skilled team where technical issues are continuously discussed and addressed. You will be the way in to the electrical department for the engineers that have direct contact with our end customer - the truck drivers. We have short lead times for these changes and you will be that see the result of your actions fast.
You will be responsible for the compiling the solution that we offer to the customer and make sure its solution is taken care of in best possible way. Since this role is outside our ordinary development flow, you will have the possibilities to adapt it to best make if fit with your view of an efficient way of working. The focus on the end result also gives more freedom in the technical design compared to the ordinary development process.
Typical tasks that you will have are:
• Manage the budget for electrical engineering's spendings on customer adaptations
• Prioritize between different customer requests and communicate this to both factory and development team
• Continuously improve the process of customer adaptations and propose changes which make the development more efficient for customer adaptations
• Represent Electrical Engineering in cross functional foras where customer adaptions are managed
• Educate customer adaptation personnel in factory in the process to follow
• Depending on personal skills, experience and interest there are also possibilities to participate in advanced engineering projects

Qualifications:
• MSc in Mechanical or Automation Engineering or similar
• Knowledge of truck applications
• Experience in wiring and harness
• Experience of packaging
• Analytical, communicative and flexible
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Experience from the automotive industry is meriting
• The position will include occasional travelling within our global organization
