Our ambition is to expandthe prototype team within sewing and soft goods as a part of our Global Product Development Organization in Hillerstorp. Do you want to be the key person for making it happen?
In this role you will be main responsible for the workshop for soft goods within the prototype department. The role includes to produce short serial of sales sample and 2D patterns from design sketches. You will also support design and development projects with sewing and fabric knowledge.
As this is a new area within prototyping department it requires that you have willingness to take the lead to implement sewing and soft good prototyping from scratch, including developing working methods. and that you see it as a fun and exciting challenge to be involved and responsible for building a new department. To enjoy your new organization you need to be a pro-active and hands-on personality who thrives in a high speed and team oriented environment. You are a person that is striving for continues improvements and have the willingness to challenge existing ways of producing prototypes, but still with a humble attitude.
Our new employee has at least five years relevant experience of sewing and soft goods prototyping as well as good knowledge of pattern design, fabric materials and general manufacturing methods. You have good knowledge in English, both written and spoken and at minimum education from upper secondary school.
