Strategic Product Planning (SPP) is a global, highly strategic, and influential function within Group Trucks Technology (GTT). Our team, part of SPP, supports and drives Volvo Group ambition when it comes to Services & Solutions by leading the transformation and setting the direction where we should invest in the future to secure sustainable profits overtime.

To be successful and ensure a competitive service offering we need to understand the business environment and customer needs in which our products operate.
We are now looking for a Group Manager to lead, guide, engage and support our Services team consisting of highly skilled and motivated employees.
Services team drives development of business plans with directions for investment priorities to create profitable services and solutions.
As Manager for Services team, you will play an important role to lead and inspire the transformation of services. You will also be operationally involved in the Services Team deliverables.
To be successful in this role we believe that you have a great interest and knowledge in services business, experience from driving change management and well-developed skills in business strategy.

You hold a university degree in Software Engineering/Development, Computer Science or corresponding. Complementary BSc or MSc degree in Business and Economics is seen as an advantage. In your previous experience you have developed a good understanding of services business. You have experience from leading people, and you have ability to communicate efficiently.
We believe you come with a strong ownership mentality, you take pride in, and celebrate together, with your team during success. You make sure to support and guide during challenging and stressful times.
Your great appetite to work collaboratively has over the years given you the experience in how to influence stakeholders at all levels.
You are someone who likes to have fun at work and makes sure everyone always feels welcome and included.
This position will be based in Gothenburg, with business travelling expected on occasional basis.
