hela Sverige About the role Wrknest are now looking for a hands-on Service Engineer for an assignment at AVL List Nordiska, a leading company within Instrumentation and Test Systems. You will be part of an experienced service team that ensures engine test facilities operate without interruptions. The assignment starts as a six-month consultancy with very good chances of transition to permanent employment with AVL.
Your future responsibilities You will work in advanced test cells where engines are tested, making sure both instruments and systems run flawlessly. The role is varied, involving both service and calibration of measurement equipment, as well as troubleshooting in test environments and professional communication directly with customers to ensure smooth operation and support. You will work with both advanced tasks and practical duties such as workshop cleaning and cable maintenance.
We are looking for someone who Enjoys practical work and has a technical interest and background in automotive technology, electrical systems, or a related area. You have a down-to-earth attitude, where no task is too big or too small. You are curious, solution-oriented, and enjoy working in a team, valuing collaboration in a self-managing team environment and demonstrating strong teamwork skills. You are organized and detail-oriented in your work. The role requires initiative, the ability to prioritize work assignments efficiently, and the capacity to work independently with service tasks after completing training and short online courses.
Requirements
Education in Electronics or relevant work experience with automotive electrical systems, for example from a car or truck repair workshop
Electrical knowledge (e.g. automotive electricity or electronics)
Proficient in English, spoken and written
Basic computer skills, for daily computer use, internal communication, and basic knowledge of Excel
Meritorious
Experience from a workshop environment (car/truck)
Advanced Excel skills
Knowledge of measurement technology or test equipment
Familiarity with PLC systems
Completed electrical safety training
Additional information Start: As soon as possible, by agreement Location: Södertälje Scope: Full-time on sight Employment type: Consultancy assignment via Wrknest for 6 months, with strong potential for permanent employment.
