Within the Mining and Rock Excavation Service Division it is our vision to be the number one provider of Parts and Services in our industry. Our product portfolio has grown; hence we are looking for Service Engineer with special devotion for Underground Continues Loaders (Haggloader).
Mission
The responsibilities for this role in Technical Service include the following areas:
• Product and application training to the Customer Centers and end customers
• Work with development of professional training material.
• Participate in product development projects
• Actively be a part of field tests internally and externally.
• Give technical feedback from the field back to the product company.
• Address internal technical issues reported by our Customer Centers as well as working with warranty and service reports.
• Work together with the Technical Documentation department when creating instructions, service schedules and spare parts books.
• Handle daily support to our Customer Centers.
• Conduct start-up and commissioning of Atlas Copco products, mainly but not limited to Haggloaders at Customer Centers / Sites. This will include theoretical and practical training in different applications as these continues loaders are operated on rubber wheels as well as rail bound together with conveying Shuttle cars.
The job in Technical Service requires travelling to some extent. about 40-80 days per annum.
Experience requirements
• Relevant technical education on minimum high school level, or equivalent through experience.
• It is necessary to have the engineering ability to understand the functional and performance requirements of extreme-service mobile equipment operation and maintenance requirements, and to evaluate designs and make appropriate recommendations to the Engineering Department for improvement.
• Good experience in electric and hydraulic mobile systems, equal to SL1 as minimum.
• Know how from the Tunneling and Mining business.
• Know how in PLC control (SAUER plus1) is a merit.
• Experience in high voltage installation (400V).
• English, oral and written communication is a must.
• Skills with Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes products.
• Expertise in multi-language is a plus.
