Not because we're using caps (duh..), but because you; our new SEO Specialist have used your magic (intelligence, drive, analytical mind and collaboration skills) to increase Happy Socks growth of organic search traffic in strategic markets. So that we can keep spreading happiness all over the world!
Together with Amelia (our Global Digital Advertising & Media Manager) you will own, set and drive the global SEO Strategy for our eCommerce channels. With a focus on optimizing and sharpening our SEO content, you will also provide valuable analysis and insights to internal stakeholders.
A role that "has it all", we'd say!
The role that has it all:
This area will be your diamond to sharpen; you'll do everything from setting the strategy for all markets, keeping up to date with marketing trends, adjust existing metadata, analyze search behavior, clearly communicate and present our progress and impact of changes made.
But it's not a diamond for just you to keep! We want you to share it with your colleagues; provide insights and best practices, feedback to our internal Happy Agency Copywriters (even if you'll do most of the copy yourself), UX Designers, Developers etc. We're in this together!
Your profile:
We do a lot of these things already, but when you come in there will be an even more focus on growing in this area. That's why we want you to have enough work experience within SEO and having that strategic eye, to be able to deliver on this growth. This includes a deep understanding of current SEO trends and SEO copywriting experience to craft high quality, relevant metadata and experience.
We want you to be structured and super data driven, with a focus on analysis and a way of explaining and packaging complex data into understandable actions for various stakeholders. It's also an advantage if you have previous SEM experience.
We need you to be fluent in English, if you know other languages that's a huge plus (especially Swedish, German and/or Dutch). And experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Mixpanel, SEMRush, Moz, BrightEdge, and/or similar tools would make your life easier.
But most importantly, you have the personality to fit a somewhat crazy, fun work environment where we believe in color and playfulness, a place where you can expect the unexpected and you are a source of creative weirdness.
We are 180 colorful characters at Happy Socks from over 25 different countries and you'll be working at our quirky HQ in Stockholm.
