hela Sverige As head of Group Reporting Tax & Control you will have the overall responsibility for Volvo Group financial management. You will report to the deputy CEO and CFO of Volvo Group.
Mission
GRT&C shall, ensure that group management has full understanding of current and future financial performance of the group and, from a group perspective, ensure financial reporting, develop the finance function, develop the financial steering model, conduct business control of the group as well as take responsibility for policies and guidelines in the area of responsibility.
In the role you will closely interact and work with several areas of the group and contribute with a finance perspective as well as consider all stakeholders, both internal and external. You will also frequently participate and contribute to decisions making in foras such as the Executive Board, Product Board and Business Review Meetings as well as prepare material for the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee.
Responsibilities
• Transactional flows in the finance area
• Statutory and Group Accounting, both internal and external
• All tax matters for the Group
• Financial systems for the group
• Business controlling of the operations for the Group
• All management reporting at the Group level
• All policies, directives and guidelines in the areas of responsibility
• Owner of Volvo Group Financial Steering Model
• Be able to further capture synergies in the areas of responsibility

Critical competencies and experiences for the position
• Business control in a large group
• Solid background in accounting incl external reporting
• Experience from developing financial steering and finance function
• You are able to adapt quickly to changes, understand the business through a global lens
• Leadership and business skills are absolutely crucial.
• Hold a university degree and/or an MBA in relevant financial field(s)
• High and solid level in the leading business leadership competences
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience from senior financial management positions
• Excellent English communication skills, both in writing and speaking, additional languages are a plus
The head of Group Reporting Tax & Control needs to be energetic with a proactive approach to problem solving and should have outstanding communication skills. Furthermore he/she should work with a strong professionalism and high integrity. It is important to have knowledge of the overall business fundamentals, customer needs and key players in the automotive industry. The position requires outstanding analytical and change management skills as well as ability to be strong in execution.
