Senior User Experience (UX) Designer
The User Experience Centre, within Product and Quality (R&D), bring consumer emotions, behaviours and needs into Volvo Cars product creation.
We are responsible for strategies and directions of UX, creating rapid prototypes for proof of concepts and conduct user research.

You are an expert in how to find and visualize what our consumers want and who they are in collaboration with product owners, product strategy and development teams.

What you'll do
You together with your team will conduct and lead user research activities in our markets globally and use a variety of qualitative and a subset of quantitative methods.
You will define user journeys and identify user needs and innovation opportunities. Together with your team you will communicate and visualize user needs and behaviours and facilitate collaboration activities.
Creating prototypes for proof of concept and conduct tests to verify user experience hypothesis using for example virtual reality, prototype vehicles and experience prototyping.
You will be working in an agile development environment where you will act as an evangelist for user centred design and user business value.

Do you fit the profile?
You are experienced User Experience Designer that breath Design Thinking. How to meet and create trust with consumers is something that comes natural for you. When you facilitate co-creation and visualize insights, you love how to get everyone utilizing their creative mindset and bring out the best of them. Developing and creating prototypes makes you engaged. You have a Master's Degree or equivalent in industrial design, user experience or equivalent field of study and have more than 7 years of documented experience within UX.
If you have experience to work within an agile development environment and have start-up experience with catalysed product development in a fast-paced environment it is meritorious.
Who are you?
You have a good sense of humour and are driven and self-motivated. A strive for future development and challenges is also a part of your personality.
You are used to be a go to person with a highly professional mind set.
