At Engine Verification and Planning, we are a team of 14 passionate durability test engineers and test planners who enjoy what we do. Our team is built by teamwork and engagement, having fun together and supporting each other in our daily work. We are located at Powertrain engineering Sweden within Verification, Testing and Materials Technology and we are responsible to plan and execute engine tests. To secure a predictable launch of major product programs to our customers we strongly believe in collaboration along the whole test chain; starting with our colleagues from design teams to workshop and test operators, but also colleagues that develop our test facilities. We believe in understanding and meet our customer's expectations on quality, fuel consumption and to comply with emission legislation. In our team, we value the strength given by differences in background, knowledge, age, gender, and nationality.
This is what you will do
In this position you will be an important contributor to engine development by providing input and feedback from test cell results analysis. Your daily work is an exciting mix of engine laboratory time, data analysis, engine parts inspection, collaborative product meetings, and project presentations. You will be working with both larger long-term projects and smaller short-term projects to improve products currently in production. Another important aspect of the role is that you will contribute to the development of durability test methods to secure that our verification and validation processes satisfy the requirements of tomorrow. In this position you will get the opportunity to follow verification of our Heavy-Duty Engine range from early prototypes to full production-ready engines.

Qualifications
Master of Science or similar experience
Education and/or experience of combustion engines, parts and system, and exhaust after treatment
Several years of experience within combustion engine development
Several years of experience from running durability test
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Driving license for truck (C/CE) is a merit but not a demand
