Radio Design is responsible for research, development and maintenance of radio unit in Ericsson Radio Base station products. One of our major challenges is to develop and deliver high volumes Radio hardware in short timeframes.
Next generation hardware supporting all standard (GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, 4G LTE and TDD) with multi band architecture is our next challenge.
Therefore, we are looking for a highly driven and self motivated senior functional designer!
The position is based at Lindholmen Science Park, the most dynamic development area in Göteborg. It is a part of the north riverbank in Göteborg, where a new city district is being built up in the old harbour areas. The aim is to create increased innovation, international competitiveness and growth for the entire area.
Job description
You will be involved in functional and digital radio development as well as take part in hands-on trouble shooting in the laboratory during integration of HW and SW of the products.
This means close cooperation with System design, SW design and other design areas as well as production. Co-operation with other design centers in Sweden, China, and Canada is part of the work.
We use the latest design and simulation tools and we keep track of new technology, methodology and design techniques, ensuring that radio design activities are kept at world class level.

Qualifications
You should have good knowledge of electronic design, analog and digital knowledge. You have experience of SW development, together with good leadership and highly developed team working skills. Organizing and strong result-orientation come naturally to you. You are highly motivated, with the drive to solve problems and expand your knowledge.
You should also have:
A MSc in Telecommunication, Electrical engineering or similar
Experience of digital system design, ASIC design and digital signal processing
Experience of embedded system design
Excellent knowledge of Wireless Communication systems, incl. 3GPP, LTE and TDD.
You are result-oriented, have good communication and cooperation skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
