Tetra Pak is using groundbreaking new digital technologies to manage our supply chain, delivering even more value to our customers. The department of Integrated Supply Chain is driving the development to ensure that we maintain and extend our industry leadership by driving digital business development and building internal capabilities. At the core of the department we have the Supply Chain Analytics team with focus on development of predictive and prescriptive models that help improving human decision making.
The role as Senior Supply Chain Analyst has a large degree of creative freedom to find unique solutions for supply chain related problems. Innovative and creative think is highly appreciated.
The position will be placed in Lund, Sweden.
Main Responsibilities
• Work in collaboration with Tetra Pak 's five Geographical Clusters and the central supply chain organization to build the future digital capabilities in supply chain planning
• Promote a Data Driven culture and strategy for Tetra Pak 's decision making. Including decision support for supply & operations and strategic supply chain optimization
• Participate in Data Science collaboration network (external and internal)
• Manage optimization and other advanced analytics methods to support in strategic and tactical decision making
Qualifications
As a person you need to be able to learn on the fly and to continuously be curios to explore the technology and knowledge evolution. The role requires you to be on the cutting edge of Supply Chain Management, where rapid change is constant. Most of the work is done in cross functional and geographical diverse, formal or informal teams, your interpersonal skills are important.
To be successful in this role You have a good understanding of operational processes like Supply Chain management, Supply & Operations, Inventory Management, KPI's and decision supporting systems. You translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for business or product improvement, and communicate these findings. You are able to drive efforts to enable independent interpretation of results through education, improved tools, and data visualization.
We believe you have a Master Degree in Mathematical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science and at least 3 years' experience working with Simulation and Optimization of Supply Chains or Production and 5-10 years' experience working with Supply Chain Management. Experience with distributed databases is a merit.
