We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Motor Control to strengthen our Electronics & Software teamet Husqvarna Construction.
We deliver software expertise throughout the complete product lifecycle; from design and implementation to production and maintenance.
As Senior Software Engineer you lead our software development within your area of expertise and you participate in development of embedded software for products used world-wide. Together we create testable well-structured software and maintains a solid software platform and architecture for all of our products.
Your work is conducted in software teams, in close cooperation with project members from different areas such as power electronics-/mechanical engineering and compliance.
Location
Jonsered, just outside Gothenburg.
Reports To
Manager Software Engineering.
Your profile
• Engineering degree within Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience of development of field oriented motor control and embedded real time systems in C/C++
• Good knowledge in written and spoken English
Preferred experience and key factors
• You have solid experience of design and implementation of software for field oriented control of electrical motors, from speed control loops to current control and space vector modulation.
• Design, tuning and evaluation of closed loop control systems. You also have the ability to understand and discuss power electronics and how it interacts with software.
• Because we favor continuous integration and testing, it is an advantage if you have experience from Git, Gerrit, Jenkins or Robot Framework.
As a person you are well-organized, analytical, flexible and accurate. Good team working skills together with the ability to operate independently is also important.
