hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Apple Ab Malmö i Malmö On our team you will design data models, systems and pipelines to address the needs of cutting edge digital mapping. You will build geospatial solutions from concept to release: design, build, test, and ship. You will work closely with data scientists, data engineers, technical writers and operations staff to propose new tools and processes to improve their efficiency. Additionally, you will be expected to mentor and train junior developers on the team. This is a software engineering role, where a large part of your time is spent in writing code and designing/developing application and tuning and debugging codebase, supporting production applications. This role requires experience and expertise with existing technologies and cloud data platforms. This role requires in-depth knowledge with geospatial data models, formats and mapping system design. We are looking for an independent, hardworking individual with a passion for solving real world problems with Maps data.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience building large-scale maps data systems with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Expertise with geospatial data models and formats
• Experience with cloud based solutions such as AWS
• Programming experience in building high quality software. Proficiency in at-least one of the following programming languages - Scala or Java.
• Experience with Apache Spark or Hadoop Map Reduce, or equivalent big data technology.
• The ideal candidate would also have experience with spatial analysis and cloud data platform technologies like Snowflake, SQL and Python.
