Working at Clavister
As a Senior Software Developer, you will work hands-on with the development and improvement of Clavister's products. Clavister has an agile way of working and has over the past year implemented a clear sprint process that will promote innovation. New implementations such as "demo-by-all" and "innovate-by-all" are segments that has proven to be appreciated by teams and colleagues because these opportunities create space for retrospective reflection, new ideas and competence development. Working with cyber-security is considered by many to be an altruistic work that contributes to the benefit of society, as it is a prerequisite for communication and digitization to be able to function securely worldwide.
Examples of your responsibilities:
• Explore and define requirements for new functionality.
• Implement and test new functions and solutions.
• Troubleshoot, improve and restructure code.
• Research new technology to be able to improve the products.
Clavister is in the middle of an exciting journey of change where the aim is to specialize more in customer needs and build solutions that are more tailored to the market. Skills and characteristics
To succeed in the role of Senior Software Developer, you should have solid experience in hardware-related programming and you should have worked primarily in the programming language C. You may have worked in another industries and now find cyber-security exciting to explore further. If you have worked with network programming or firewalls before, it is a strong merit.
The first step in Clavister's recruitment process is a programming test that has the purpose to ensure that your skills and areas of interest are in line with Clavister's development environment. You get an insight into what the development environment can look like and you also get the opportunity to discuss the technical aspects together with Clavister on a deeper level.
It is desirable if you have an academic education in computer science or network technology. If you are self-taught, you should have documented experience that ensures your competence in the area. You should be able to speak and write English fluently, as English is Clavister's corporate language.
