As an embedded software developer, you will design and implement software for the "next generation" of power tools and assembly systems. You will develop new products within cross-functional projects close to other software developers, hardware specialists and mechanical designers. You will work in an agile environment, with positive, motivated and passionate colleagues developing embedded real-time software and long-lasting solutions to our customers. Furthermore, you will be part of research and technology initiatives within the line organization ensuring that Atlas Copco can continue to be the market leader of power tools and assembly solutions.
My name is Henrik Öhrlund and I am leading the Tool Embedded Software Team at the Mechatronics Department, R&D. The team consists of about 12 friendly colleagues in a good mix between young professionals and senior developers. As team leader I am proud of the team's drive to always find a better way and always helping a colleague if needed.
The R&D department in total consists of about 350 people placed at Atlas Copco's headquarter in Nacka. Atlas Copco is a market leading company present in 90 countries.

About you
You have an academic degree (e.g. M.Sc.) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or any other relevant background and a great interest in software development.
You have solid experience in software development using C or C++ for embedded systems, and a genuine passion for developing maintainable solutions. It is considered a qualification if you have knowledge of development under both Windows and Linux and have worked closely with hardware before.
Since Atlas Copco is a global company with employees from all over the world and uses English as a corporate language, you are fluent in English.
