Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:
* Our software department includes a team that maintain and develops our product, The Flex Power Designer.
* The Power Designer is used for configuring, simulate and monitor our digital products.
* The work consists of traditional error correction, minor change requests, but also larger researches that at several occasions has led to patented algorithms.
* The Power Designer is a .NET application written in C# with WPF as graphical framework.
* The work also includes some Python and MATLAB programing.
* We are using Git as source control system and try to follow the Scrum process.
* Our application has models which make it possible to simulate and optimize the controller in the module based on the customer's configuration.
* We also have models for power dissipation which for example makes it possible to determine the efficiency of an entire system solution of our products.
* We are currently working on implementing thermal models with associated easy-of-use user interface.
* All these models have been developed by our software team together with electrical-, control theory- and mechanical engineers.
Here is some of what you'll need (required):
* Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or technical field
* 5+ years of relevant experience (C#, .NET, WPF or similar)
* Exceptional English knowledge both in written and spoken form
* Ability to think strategically, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
* Strong innovation skills and creativity
* Flexibility and traveling availability
We consider the following experiences as a plus:
* Knowledge/interest in frontend development, electronics, control theory and/or computer science
* Communicative level of Swedish (written/oral)

Our portfolio includes IOT & connected devices, cloud solutions, medical devices design support for electronic design.
At Flex in Kalmar we are about 30 employees working with product-, software- and test development. The focus is on developing new hardware-platforms and software solutions within data- and telecom industry.
