Monitoring the driver behavior is safety critical both for normal driving as well as for autonomous driving. Work description
You will be part of our team, improving and further developing our AIS product, taking Smart Eye's state-of-the-art algorithms for head- and eye-tracking, attentiveness and drowsiness, and applying them in a connected embedded product. As a developer in our team, you will work with various tasks such as warning strategies, hmi, mobile application, test automation and cloud integration.
You will have an active impact of the processes and projects and will work in close cooperation with the other talented team members. Your contribution to how we can meet our customers needs with tomorrow's technology will be of crucial importance.

Location: Smart Eye AB, Headquarters (Gothenburg)
Must-have-skills and work tasks:
- University degree within Engineering context preferably Computer Science or similar.
- Good knowledge in C/C++, Python and Linux.
- Background in software development, preferably within embedded systems.
- Software Development on our AIS platform (ecu, camera, app and cloud).
- HMI and high-level application logic with focus on user experience and warning strategies.
- CI and test automation
- Communication protocols such as BLE and CAN.
- Review and analyze system requirements and architecture to ensure that the design meets the needs of the project.
- Enable the team to work with quality.
- Troubleshoot technical issues including software development, engineering tasks and product releases.
- Plan, design, lead and execute technical solutions and improvements.
- Work closely with the AIS product owners.
Good-to-have-skills:
- Experience working with Docker containers and K8s.
- Dart and flutter experience is a merit but not a must.
- Experience of software development and/or system engineering within automotive industry (Tier 1/OEM).
- Experience of developing software for products related to functional safety and ISO-26262 is a merit.
