hela Sverige The Senior Safety CAE role includes simulations of complete vehicle models as well as sub models, and analyse the crash performance both from a structural and an occupant point of view.
As a Safety CAE engineer you are responsible for creating and developing simulation models as well as carrying out the simulations. The results shall be verified against defined requirements, both legal and specific client requested requirements.
The role may also include method development.
As a Senior Safety CAE engineer you will have a close collaboration with design engineers, in order to optimize/improve and the vehicle to meet the requirements.
As Senior Safety CAE engineer you may also lead and mentor a team of safety engineers to build capability and skills in order to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met.
Escenda is now looking for a Senior Safety CAE Engineer with experience from passive safety CAE within the Automotive industry.
The following knowledge/experience is requested:
• M.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• Extensive experience of crash simulations in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of the automotive legislations in Europe, US and China, as well as consumer ratings.
• Skills in Ansa, LS-dyna and MetaPost.
• Analytical and good problem solving skills.
• Self motivated, proactive team player.
• Demonstrated ability of communicating with multicultural and remote teams as well as at all levels within a customer environment.
