At ABB, we have the clear goal of driving diversity and inclusion across all dimensions: gender, LGBTQ+, abilities, ethnicity and generations. Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.
At ABB Process Industries product group Mining, Aluminium and Cement (MAC), sustainability in all dimensions is core to us and something we embed in all we do. As we push the boundaries of technology, we support our customers to preserve resources and enable a low-carbon society. Mining for example is essential for a sustainable world - cellphones, computers, batteries, wind farms... virtually every aspect of modern life relies on the ores mined from the earth. But that same industry accounts for up to 7% of all greenhouse gas emissions. There must be a transformation. And we are committed to working with mines to bring about that transformation to an all electric mine, including more eco-friendly and efficient hoist, grinding and rectifier products.
ABB MAC wants to proactively address all sustainability and environmental aspects of MAC portfolio and be the leading player on the market. To be champions on the sustainability, we are looking for enthusiastic and highly motived collaborators. You will become a part of our Global R&D organization and be a key driver and contributor to enable our customers to cut their environmental footprint through our more eco-friendly solutions.
Your responsibilities

Make sure the certifications of the environmental declarations are executed in accordance with standards and legislations.
Organize the necessary training to stakeholders and teams.
Keep informed on the status of key sustainability engagements globally and pursuit support globally for key opportunities when necessary. Support sales in how to communicate with the customers.
Collaborate with stakeholders of the global ABB organization in relation to environmental sustainability.

At least 2 years of experience preferably in environmental sustainability.
