We are looking for a skilled PHP web developer to join a team responsible for developing and maintaining a high traffic consumer facing web site. The site has been live since Feb 23 2012. Development is done with an agile mindset within a multi-functional and multi-national team (design, IA, technology, content creation) using an architecture based on the latest technology, including WordPress, NodeJS, SASS and Amazon AWS.
An opportunity has arisen for a new member to join the development team. The person we are looking for is a cutting edge web developer with previous experience of public web development and WordPress. Our ideal candidate would need to be an all-rounder with good knowledge of the skills needed for professional web development, and possessing a strong "doer"-mentality.
As a consultant you will be expected to have your own development computer, the customer will supply everything else needed to work.
Must-haves:
• Work will be performed 100% on-site as part of an existing team of developers in Lund, Sweden.
• Experience of working with public web sites is a must.
• Must be fluent in English
• Object-oriented PHP knowledge
• Experience of working on large-scale public web sites designed to be highly modular
• Knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, SASS, JQuery, Media Queries, and similar technologies
• Advanced Javascript, DOM and Browser-rendering knowledge
• Appreciation of, and confidence working with and contributing to, "good? visual design
• Experience working in a team of web professionals
• Experience with one-page applications
• Comfortable using the command line/terminal on a daily basis
• Know your way around version control, in particular GIT
• 2-3 år years experience!
Bonus points for:
• WordPress knowledge
• NodeJS knowledge
• Jade template knowledge
• Test-driven development
• Design creation skills is a bonus (e.g. in Photoshop)

Duration: 3-6 months with high possibility of extension
