We are looking for an experienced, high energy, collaborative colleague who is able to translate strategic needs into effective HR solutions.

Kunskaper
As Nordic HR Generalist you will provide HR support and strategic management on a senior-level to a large segment of the Nordic organization. You will collaborate with the Divisional leaders to design and execute strategic, operational and development goals. You will provide advice and support to include employee relations, compensation, organizational development, career development, change management and training.

Primary areas of responsibility
• Provide HR guidance on strategic and operational issues.
• Provide project leadership and actively participate in business- and human resource projects.
• Serve as a resource to both managers and associates by providing policy and procedure interpretation.
• Drive development of new policies and procedures as necessary to support the business.
• Mitigate organizational risk by ensuring compliance with all employment laws.
• Coach and develop manager skills around employee relations, performance management, talent development, and other key areas.
• Participate in grievance and problem-solving processes including contract settlement discussions, mediation processes and other types of dispute resolution.
• Support managers and supervisors to assist them in developing their employees through learning and development programs and other resources.
• Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in HR service delivery.
• Support the process of harmonizing and outsourcing HR related activities to an external partner.
• Assist associates with enquiries, concerns and needs. Act as an impartial advocate for fair and equitable treatment.
• Provide HR related data and reporting to leaders in order to promote data driven decision making and strategy development.
Beskrivning av kvalifikationer:
• Degree level study in Human Resources or equivalent.
• At least +5 years of experience from a similar role in a Nordic organization.
• Requires advanced knowledge and experience so as to be able to work independently with minimal direction.
• Experience with Nordic employment practices and law - preferably for Finland and Sweden.
• Fluent in English. Swedish or Finnish is preferable but not a requirement.
• Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
• Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies, and implement solutions
• Strong organizational, time and project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
• Experience of HR support to a diverse population of both office and field employees
